My Moms Sleeping Feet

Word of Life Word of Life

" Behold the handmaid of the Lord done to me according to your word .

We too, like Mary, God wants to reveal what he thought about each of us, wants us to know our true identity. "You want me to do for yourself and your life a masterpiece? - Seems to be saying - Follow the road that tells you and you'll become someone who always are in my heart. I, in fact, from all eternity I thought of you and loved you, I say your name. Telling my will reveal your true self. "

is then that his will is not an imposition that narrows, but the revelation of his love for us, His project for us, and it is sublime as God himself, charming and entrancing as his face: it is He who gives himself. The will of God is a golden thread, a divine plot that weaves throughout our earthly life and beyond, is from eternity to eternity: first in the mind of God on this earth later, and finally in heaven.

But because God's plan is fulfilled in the fullness of God asks me, your consent, as he asked Mary. Only then will we realize the word he gave to me, about you. Then we too, like Mary, we are called to say

" Behold the handmaid of the Lord done to me according to your word .

course his will is not always clear. Like Mary, we must also ask the light to see what God wants. Must listen well to his voice within us, in all sincerity, who can recommend if you need help with. But once you understand his will just want to say yes. If, in fact, we realized that his desire is as great and there can be more beautiful in our lives, we are not resigned to "having to" do the will of God, but we will be happy to "be able to" do the will of God , to be able to follow his plan, so that what He has done thought for us. It 's the best we can do, the smart thing.

Mary's words - "Behold the handmaid of the Lord" - is our response to God's love, they keep us always turned to Him, to listen, to obedience, with the sole desire to accomplish his will to be what He wants us.

Sometimes, however, what He asks of us can seem absurd. There would seem better to do otherwise, we would like to be the ones to take over our lives. We would even want to advise God, tell us how and how not to do. But if you believe that God is love and I trust him, I know what predisposes in my life and the lives of those who are close to me is for my own good, for their own good. Then I give myself to him, leaving me with confidence to his will and I want with all my might, to be one with it, knowing that his will is welcome welcome him, embrace him, eat him

Nothing We owe it to believe it happens at random. No events joyful, painful or indifferent, no meetings, no situation of family, work, school, no physical or mental health condition is meaningless. But all things - events, situations, people - is carrying a message from God, everything contributes to the completion of the draft God, we discover little by little, day by day, doing as Maria, the will of God

" Behold the handmaid of the Lord done to me according to your word .

How to live then this word? Our yes to God's word actually means to do well, in full, every moment, that action that the will of God asks of us. Be all there in that work, eliminating everything else, losing thoughts, desires, memories, actions affecting others.

In front of each God's painful, joyous, indifferent, we can repeat, "done to me according to your word," or, as we Jesus taught the Our Father: "Thy will be done." Let us say first of all our actions, "done", "be done." And we will make every moment, anchor to anchor, the wonderful, unique and unrepeatable mosaic of our lives that God has always intended for all of us.
