"Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father and I will love him and manifest myself to him"
(Jn 14:21)
last discourse of Jesus, love is in the middle: the love of the Father, the Son, the love of Jesus is that observance of his commandments.
Those who heard Jesus were not hard to recognize in his words an echo of the Wisdom Books: "Love is the observance of its laws" and "is easily covered - Wisdom - who loves her." And most of all that occur to those who love the Old Testament finds its parallel in the Sap 1.2, which says that the Lord will be manifested to those who believe in him.
Now the sense of this word, we are proposing, is: who loves the Son is loved by the Father, the Son and is loved in return that occurs to him.

not conceive of a Christian who does not have this dynamism, this office in the heart of love. A clock does not work, does not give the time - and we can say that it is not even a watch - if not charged. So a Christian who is not always in the tension of loving, does not deserve the name Christian.
That's because all the commandments of Jesus can be summarized into one: in the love of God and neighbor, in which to see and love Jesus
Love is not mere sentimentality but translates into real life in service to others, especially those around us, starting with small things, from the most humble services. Charles de Foucauld

And that is why love makes its way to us his light, the light of Jesus, according to his promise: "Who loves me ... I will manifest myself to him." Love is the source of light we can understand more about loving God who is love.
And this makes it even more love and deepen the relationship with the next.
This light, this loving knowledge of God is the seal, the proof of true love. And you can experience in various ways, because each of us the light changes color, its hue. But it has some characteristics in common: we are enlightened by the will of God, gives us peace, serenity, and an understanding of the ever-new Word of God 'a warm glow, encourages us to walk in the way of life in an increasingly safe and expeditious . When the shadows of existence make us uncertain path, even when we were blocked by darkness, the word of the Gospel reminds us that the light kindled by love and that need is a concrete gesture of love too small (a prayer , a smile, a word), to give us that spark that allows us to move forward.

in life: just restart the love, the real one, the one who gives without expecting anything, to rekindle our faith and hope.
