"Blessed is she who believed in the words of the Lord." (Lk 1:45)

This Word is part of an event simple and very high at the same time it is the meeting between two mothers, two mothers, whose spiritual and physical symbiosis with their children is total. Who can forget when, during the war, believing Jesus' words, "Ask and you shall receive" everything that we asked so many poor in the city and saw they needed to get sacks of flour, boxes of milk, jam, wood, clothing?
Even today the same things happen. "Give and you shall receive" and the stores are always full of love, being regularly emptied.
But what is most striking is how the words of Jesus are true anytime, anywhere. And God's help arrives on time even in impossible circumstances, and in the most isolated of the earth as happened recently to a mother who lives in great poverty. One day has felt the need to give his last money to a person poorer than you. He believed that a "give and you shall receive" the Gospel. And he had great peace in the soul. Soon after came his youngest child and showed just got a gift from an elderly relative who, by chance, had been there: in his hand was no money multiplied.
A "little" experience like this makes us believe in the Gospel, and each of us can experience the joy, the bliss that comes from seeing the promises of Jesus
When, in everyday life, in reading of the Scriptures we will meet with the Word of God, we open our hearts to listen, with the faith that what Jesus asks of us and promises will come true. You'll soon discover, like Mary and like the mother, which he keeps his promises.

"The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls found one pearl of great price, went and sold all his possessions and buy it. " (Mt 13.45-46)



In this short parable, Jesus strongly affects the imagination of its listeners. Everyone knew the value of pearls, with gold, were then the most precious things we know.
In addition, the scriptures speak words of wisdom and knowledge of God as something to not to compare "not even a priceless gem."
But relief is in the parable of the exceptional event, surprising and unexpected that represents that the dealer had spotted, perhaps in a bazaar, a gem that only his eyes had experienced a tremendous value and which therefore could get a good profit. That is why, having made his calculations, he decided it was worth selling everything to buy the pearl. And who would not have done the same in his place?
Here is the deeper meaning of the parable: the encounter with Jesus, and that is with the Kingdom of God among us - here is the pearl! - Is the only occasion that you have to take the fly, fully committed to all their energies and what you have.

is not the first time the disciples feel confronted with a requirement that is fundamental to everything that you need to leave to follow Jesus, our most precious resources such as family ties, economic security, guarantees for the future.
But his request is not a groundless and absurd.
For a "whole" that is lost there is a "whole" that is, more precious inestimable. Every time Jesus asks something, also promises to give much, much more, in superabundance.
So with this parable assures us that we have in our hands a treasure that will make us rich forever.
And it may seem a mistake to let the certain for the uncertain, a good safe for a good only promised, we think that merchant: he knows that the pearl is very valuable and I look forward to what will get them trafficking.
So who wants to follow Jesus knows, sees, with eyes of faith, which will gain immense share with him the heritage of the Kingdom to have everything left at least spiritually.
To all the men in the life God offers an opportunity like that because they know the catch.

It 's a concrete invitation to put aside all those idols which the heart can take the place of God, career, marriage, studies, a nice house, profession, sport and entertainment.

doing so, seeking the Kingdom, according to the promise of the Gospel, the rest will be given in addition. Setting aside everything for the Kingdom of God we receive a hundredfold in homes, brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers, because the Gospel has a clear human dimension: Jesus God-man with the spiritual food and assures us the bread, housing, dress, family.
Maybe we should learn from "small" to trust more than Father's providence, which does not lack for anything to those who give, to love, all the little he has.
