"Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it" (Matt. 10:39)

reading these words of Jesus are relevant to two types of life: life on earth that is built in this world and the supernatural life given by God, through Jesus, life does not end with death and that none can be removed.
Faced existence, then you can have two attitudes: either stick to the earthly life, considering it the only good, and we tend to think of ourselves, our things, creatures and we will close our shell, saying only his ego, and we'll find as a conclusion in the end, inevitably, only death. Or otherwise, believing that we have received from God an existence far more profound and authentic, we have the courage to live in such a way as to deserve this gift to the point of being able to sacrifice our lives to each other.
